Privacy & Data
Clinical records stay under your control.
PediaFlux is designed local-first. This page explains, in plain language, where clinical information is kept and when it can leave your device.
Local-first clinical storage
Patient records, clinical drafts and saved templates are stored locally on your device.
No PediaFlux cloud account
You do not create a PediaFlux account, and patient records are not uploaded to a PediaFlux server.
No automatic sync
Records are not synchronized between devices. To move them, create a backup on one device and restore it on another.
Encrypted backups you start
A backup is created only when you choose. It is one encrypted file protected by a password you must set.
You control copy, print, export and share
Content leaves the device only when you copy, print, export, share or back it up to a destination you choose.
No analytics or tracking in the app
The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party crash-reporting software.
When information leaves the device
Only when you choose — and to where you choose.
On your device
Records, drafts and templates stored locally.
Your action
Copy, print, export, share or create a backup.
Your destination
A folder, printer, app or file provider you select — under that provider's own terms.
Backup password. The password is never stored and cannot be recovered or reset. Keep it separate from the backup file and never send them together.
No storage method is completely risk-free. Protect your device with a passcode, keep it updated and follow your organization's policies.
